A Day at the Farm

All Taegyn asked to do for her birthday was to ride a pony. So of course we took her to Thanksgiving Point to ride their ponies and to see their animals.



The kids had so much fun petting the goats,



Feeding the ducks,



Watching the Turkeys and chickens,


And playing in the jail cell that they have there.

Taegyn decided to pose for the pictures in the jail cell.


If you guys haven't been to Thanksgiving point to do their farm, you should. It's really inexpensive and the kids really enjoy looking at all the animals.

Little Einstein's Birthday

Taegyn changed her mind a couple times about what kind of birthday theme she wanted.
At first it was My Little Ponies, then she decided that she wanted Silver Mist from TinkerBell movies and then she decided that she wanted a Little Einstein's Birthday with a Rocket cake. In the Rocket cake she wanted all the characters of Little Einstein inside, so of course I obliged. We got Taegyn her own scooter for her birthday because deKyn and her fight over his so much.
She got a lot of good presents this year that she was so excited about. Thank you to everyone that came and helped make Taegyn's birthday a great one!

3 Years ago yesterday

Three years ago yesterday I was in my sister's driveway dropping off deKyn so that I could go to the hospital to get a non-stress test done and as I got out of the car, my water broke. There was no turning back from there, we were having our baby that night. At about ten thirty Taegyn was born. It was 6 hours of labor with only two pushes and we welcomed her into our arms and hearts.



Now three years later, she is the most sassy, fiery, funny, quick as a whip little girl's I have ever known. She is so lovey too. It melts my heart when she gives me "loves", blows me kisses, or tells me I'm her best friend. We look forward to watching her grow and develope even more.

Just a little late snow

It was a cold day and then it just dumped at least 4 inches of snow.
My kids and my neighbors kids had a lot of fun getting in their snow suits and playing in the snow.
deKyn grabbed his pail and shovel and started playing like it was sand.
I don't think Davyn liked the snow too much but that was probably because his snow suit was Christmas Storyish and he could hardly move. Hence the face plan picture.
Taegyn had fun making snow angels with Josie and deKyn decided to join in too.
The snow was fun and all but about two hours after it dumped, the sun came out and
melted it all away on our side of the street.
Winter is great, but I think I am ready for the warm weather to come.

Okay, so my new favorite thing to make is Chocolate covered Caramel Apples. I love coming up with new ideas of what to roll the chocolate covered caramel apples in. I know that it sounds really weird and maybe not so good, but you have got to try them with crushed up whoppers! SO SO SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!
I have made quite a few lately which maybe isn't the best idea for my mid-section, but once you have one, you start to crave them. Something else that is really good to roll them in, is mini white chocolate chips with mini cinnamon chocolate chips too. I am trying to make the rounds dropping of extra ones here and there to friends and neighbors. You could be next on my list, who's interested?
