Bowling with Tacker

We have Tacker for the weekend while my parents are on a cruise. My kids absolutely love it when he comes to stay. We decided to do something that all of us could do. We took everyone to the new bowling alley in Lehi. My kids had a blast, and so did Tacker.

Walked around the Temple

We were wondering how to pass the time on Saturday, so we thought lets go up to the temple and take some pictures. It was FREEZING! My kids didn't even want to get out of the stroller because it was so cold. I really don't blame them. My fingers were numb by the time we left, but we did manage to get some pics none-the-less.

Loving my new camera

I have been wanting a new digital Canon Rebel for so long. We finally splurged and got it. I hated the fact that when I did a cake and took a picture, I never knew if it was a good picture until after we developed our film. If it was bad, by then, of course I was out of luck cause the cake was already eaten and gone. So, it is true that I bought the camera for my buisness, but I have to admit, I am having fun taking pics of the family as well!

Tacker Turns Thirty!

My big brother Tacker just turned thirty. I can not believe that he is thirty. He has been such a blessing to me and my family. He is so full of love for everyone that he meets and has such a spirit about him.
Tacker loves Mickey Mouse, so I thought what better birthday cake to make for him, then Mickey himself?

Staples aren't just for paper

So, we were at the furniture store wishing away non-existant money and deKyn was messing around and fell. Yep, at a furniture store, can anyone guess where he hit his head? Of course, on a corner of a table. So, cut his head open, not bad, but bad enough to get a staple. I would love to say that he was a champ and did great, but the truth is, he freaked out. Since I worked at the same office that we took him to, they let me clean the wound and get it ready for the staple. I thought this would make it easier on him, but no. He hated it. He especially was really mad when I had to hold his head still while they did it. To be honest, I am surprised we have gone this long without stitches or broken bones with him... We'll see how he does when it's time to take it out.

The aquarium

We went to the aquarium a couple weeks ago. They have more stuff then they did a year ago and they plan to add penguines. My kids loved it. Frankly, so did I. The last time we went deKyn didn't want to have anything to do with the sting rays, but this time I had to drag him away from the tank. He LOVED it! Maybe I should take them more often.

Sledding

We went sledding by the amplitheater by our house in January. My kids really love to go sledding. Well, all but Davyn. Here are a few pics.
