It's true, we haven't had the best luck with animals, but Cory and I both agreed our kids should have some sort of pet, so we broke down and go Jack.
Our kids are ecstatic and he is just so cute, how could you not love the thing? I have always liked cats and they are so much more simple than owning dogs.
I hope that we can break the bad streak we have with pets with Jack.
Our kids have already grown so attached. One of the first things that deKyn says when he comes home from school is "Where's the cat?"
So yes, some might judge us for getting yet another pet, but I do think that our family needed one.
